“Down in adoration falling, This great sacrament we hail…” ~St. Thomas Aquinas, from the hymn Pange Lingua
The Roman Catholic Church commemorates St. Thomas Aquinas today, March 7. To honor St. Thomas, I am posting a link to a video of one of the hymns he wrote, Pange Lingua.
Pange Lingua is a hymn written in praise of Our Eucharistic Lord. The video presents the Latin and English translations of the song. You will recognize the hymn as soon as it begins, as it is a Catholic favorite which is typically sung on the feast of Corpus Christi, on Holy Thursday, and during Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
The song/video may be found here.
St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us!
May you have a good day.
