Welcome to modern England where the government has become the god via the tentacles of the NHS in sentencing Alfie Evans to death, and in the process usurping the rights of his parents, and disregarding the requests of his Roman Catholic religion in the form of Pope Francis (who offered alternative health care in Rome).
In England the government is now the god, a god who is heartless and devoid of paternal and maternal love, for parental love is only found in the concrete, in the parent.
