Mary, the Mother of Fair Love

The coming of the Blessed Virgin Mary was prophesied in the Old Testament in beautiful descriptive language. One such Old Testament phrase which describes Our Lady states that she is the Mother of Fair Love

I am the mother of fair love, and of fear, and of knowledge, and of holy hope. In me is all grace of the way and of the truth, in me is all hope of life and of virtue. –Ecclesiasticus, Chapter 24, verses 24-25, source.

How beautiful!

God created the Immaculate Conception, the Mother of Fair Love, and the creation of this sublime creature was prophesied long before her coming. Dr. Taylor Marshall, a theologian and convert to Catholicism, he had been an Episcopalian priest, discusses Our Lady in the context of Old Testament prophecies in the following three minute video. I think you will enjoy it:

How blessed is the world that God created the Immaculate Conception, the Mother of Fair Love, the mother of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Catholics, keep close to Our Lady, our mother from the font of Baptism; a portion of our Baptismal birthright, the Mother of  Fair Love.

May you have a good day.
